The 2023/2024 season, my third year as a professional drifter, marked an unforgettable season of triumph. I clinched podium placements in an astounding four out of five rounds of the Qatar Drift Competition (QDC) Championship. Culminating in the ultimate achievement, I proudly claimed the title of Season Champion. Each passing year, my dedication to honing my skills translates into increasingly remarkable results, propelling me towards excellence in the world of drifting.

LET US REWIND TO THE BEGINNING

My journey kicked off during the 2021/2022 season, with a stock engine 350z boasting a modest 300WHP. Stepping into the competitive arena of the Qatar Drift Competition (QDC) presented formidable challenges, as the caliber of vehicles far surpassed my own. Yet, this adversity proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it demanded I adopt an aggressive driving style, pushing both myself and my car to the absolute limits.

Fast forward to the 2022/2023 season, and a significant upgrade transformed my car ,  swapping the stock engine for an LS powerhouse, pumping out a respectable 460WHP, revolutionized my performance on the track. Now equipped to contend with faster, more gripped up opponents, I found myself seamlessly maintaining pace and asserting my presence amidst the fiercest competition. However , unfortunately I was plagued with mechanical problems that season which made it extremely difficult to progress in the standings of the competition. 

 

However i managed to secure the top spot in the Redbull Car Park Drift competition (Qatar Qualifier) was just the beginning. As I advanced to the World Finals in Jeddah, I found myself among 19 of the world's most skilled drivers, including icons like Piotr Więcek and Ahmed Daham. Heat one saw me clinch an impressive second place, but fate intervened with a blown gearbox, ultimately relegating me to a still commendable sixth place finish. Every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and this setback only ignites my hunger for future triumphs.

 

Coming back to the 2023/2024 season , my program was running great , the car was running great , and it all came together. I was able to grab the championship title with 4 podium finishes in five rounds and managed to finish in second place in the red bull car park competition.
